❛ is this seat taken? ❜ her long, white gown framed her body perfectly, and the vail that was in her hands had gotten dirty from when she THREW it into a puddle. her white flowers gripped in the other hand. ❛ forgive me, but i’m in DIRE need of a drink, and maybe someone to rant to. i’m kathleen joyce. ❜ she sent the man a smile, and held up her vail. ❛ and as you can see–– my day hasn’t been the best. ❜
he glances up at her, and nods for her to take a seat. he had plenty of plans for tonight– and none of them involved running into who seems to be a runaway bride. it doesn’t take him much to imagine what kind of HELL the woman must have gone through to show up at a bar still in her wedding dress. he internally winces.
“well, i’m in DIRE need of company.” he playfully mocks.
“john laurens.” he smiles at her in pity. he had been planning to come here just for a drink or two ( well,several ) – but this? he appreciates the nice change of pace. “ugh, tell me about it.”
